Who I am

My name is Dora Matsia.
I am a person who thinks strategically, acts practically, and moves with empathy.

I believe the best results begin with genuine human connections. I don’t believe in “labels” — I believe in people, in their values, and in the intention behind every action: to create meaningful results by building trust, structure, and direction.

My personal website is not a portfolio. It is a dynamic platform that brings together my work, experiences, collaborations, and ideas, all tied by a single thread: doing things that have meaning and impact.

Professional Foundations

I studied Civil Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens and continued to develop my skills with certifications in Project Management, both in
traditional projects and agile methodologies, where I hold PMP (Project Management Professional), ACP (Agile Certified Coach) & DASM (Disciplined Agile
Scrum Master) certifications.
I have been trained in areas such as negotiations, quality assurance standards, and practices such as public speaking and public presence. Self-observation
and self-development have also been part of my field in recent years, mainly because I believe that a good Project Manager does not just lead the project –
above all inspires and motivates people.

CIVIL ENGINEERING

Civil Engineering is the discipline that designs, constructs, and maintains the built
environment — from buildings and infrastructure to the spaces where people live,
work, and connect.
It is about turning concepts into structures that are safe, functional, and sustainable,
combining technical precision with a vision for long-term value. It forms the
foundation of modern life, supporting progress while respecting the environment and
the needs of the people it serves.

Moderamen

MODERAMEN is a boutique project management and business development firm. Guided by strategic thinking, precision, and a human-centered approach, it manages the full lifecycle of a project — from initial planning to successful completion.

We build the right teams, tailor solutions to each client’s needs, and act as a trusted strategic partner who cares not only about the result, but also about the journey to get there.

Lean In

Lean In is an international non-profit organization founded by Sheryl Sandberg in 2013, with the mission to encourage and support women to achieve their goals, develop leadership skills, and challenge workplace biases.

Through Lean In Circles — small peer-learning groups — women connect, share experiences, and empower each other, becoming more confident, determined, and supported in their journeys.

In Greece, the Lean In Network Greece (Athens) operates as an independent hub, creating active circles, communities, and empowerment initiatives — with more than 48 circles and over 1,000 volunteers across the country.

Virtual Advisory Board

The Virtual Advisory Board is a global community of top-tier professionals — from CEOs and entrepreneurs to angel investors and seasoned advisors — spanning over 75 countries and 145 different industries.

It was created to connect people seeking Non-Executive Director (NED) positions or advisory roles, through exclusive, invitation-only connections, peer-to-peer events, and targeted networking opportunities.

Rather than simply providing “board search” services, the VAB is built on a strong, internal community that genuinely supports the growth of its members and strengthens their professional presence in the world of corporate leadership.

WHEN

WHEN is a social organization dedicated to the professional and economic empowerment of women, and to promoting equality and inclusion in the workplace.

It offers a mentoring platform, job counseling, skill-building programs, sexual harassment prevention workshops, support communities, and partnerships with companies and institutions — creating a comprehensive ecosystem for action and change.

REGENERATION

ReGeneration is the largest youth professional development program in Greece, combining assessment, training, and job placement into one integrated pathway.

It is aimed at recent graduates up to 29 years old, with up to 3 years of professional experience, offering intensive training in soft, business, and digital skills, mentoring from top professionals, and direct access to over 2,000 companies in its network.

Consulting

Consulting is the process through which an external partner brings value, expertise, and clarity where there is a need for decision-making, change, or planning.

In practice, consulting means:
